>I have a good Make Way for Ducklings story.
Years ago at Viking, we got a note from one of our reps, who had been approached with a complaint about Make Way from an irate parent. The parent complained that Mr. Mallard leaves his family for a week, and that she thought this made for a very poor role model for children. Our poor rep said “I could only offer lamely that Mr. Mallard was, after all, a duck.”
