That is exactly how I felt about the movie "Mama Mia." It's clear the actors were having a blast. Me while watching it? Not so much. I had more fun watching the ExqC panelists.

I'm trying to remember the last time I loved one of these write-to-order publishing projects. The most surreal was described to me by Richard Peck, who was commissioned to write a story for a collection of tales in which a child received a birthday present that, when opened, proved to be empty. Every story had to go that way. I thought the Harris Burdick collection was spotty and the Exquisite Corpse unreadable.
