As a young adult i can say that books will always be a must.

From the time I started reading as hobby learning about real world topics I consider myself much more prepared to discuss and solve my problems out there.

Also i think that reading paper books still the best way to read even that sometimes when I'm reading technical books Ii whish normal books had some type of find and search tools ;) (joke).

There is a group of people that prefer to listen books instead of reading them, is not the same, I think that by reading you will take more from it.

I really like your thoughts here. My husband and I have chosen to educate our children at home and are using a literature based curriculum. Not having been exposed to great literature during my own childhood, I buy my books through a company called Sonlight. They select a lot of older classic books which my boys have enjoyed so much and have learned a lot about history through them.

Your article (speech) has reinforced the decision we have made to use such a heavy literature based curriculum with our sons. Keep writing, my sons and everybody's children need you to!
