Three cheers, Roger, for your new list of Children's classics - You did a super job of selecting those classics and I love each one of them. And I couldn't agree with you more about Lily's Purple Plastic Purse. And, thanks for all you have done for children's literature through the years. Thank you, too, for participating in the Catholic Library Association Convention a number of years ago when I had the privilege of meeting you. Thanks again for offering your talents and contribution to the 2012 CLA Convention when it meets in Boston in April. Wish I could join you then, but that will not be possible this time.

I agree whole heartedly. Moose is a magnificent creature who would easily be the star of any storytime. What time is the program? Can we bring snacks? Oh, Roger, you can skip the fingerplays.

Me, too, Roger (about Z Is for Moose). Or that that I could go back in time fourteen years and read it to my nephew when he was three years old.

There's nothing saying you can't read it aloud to an audience at ALA Annual in Anaheim. I'd attend that!
