No.) the greatest Caldecott Medal winner ever, the children’s book awards from the American Library Association flourish in their own right, honoring each year’s most distinguished achievements in literature for young people. If you’re coming to the ALA convention in Anaheim, please join me for the Horn Book’s Live Five series of in-person interviews with this year’s winners including Caldecott Medalist Chris Raschka, Newbery Medalist Jack Gantos, and Margaret A.
