Thanks for the "heads up" on starred reviews for Sept/Oct. I am still waiting on receiving an August School Library Journal, so feel a bit behind on the recommended books, to say nothing of what Fall publishing is bringing! My problem is what will have to be discarded in the J & YA fiction to make room for all the great novels from 2011 & 2012. Eventually the new reads on display have to fit in the bookshelves! I'm sure 2013 will bring the same challenges. But, oh, Roger, how I am clinging to Lois Lenski, esp. the New England related titles (I'm down to only 4 now!), despite Children's Core Collection eliminating her!
