I know we've entered the period for Democratic nominations, but I'd like to offer a (nearly) full ballot.

- Brian from Gary Paulsen's Hatchet would run as a Libertarian,
- The Mad Hatter for the Reform Party (He kind of looks like Ross Perot) ,
- Jo March for the Democrats, and
- Tom Sawyer for the Republicans

Good luck, though, to all the nominees!

The Democratic convention is nearly upon us, and I would like to propose a candidate. Christopher Chant in his position as Chrestomanci has long experience overseeing regulations for multiple worlds. He has a history of being hands on in investigating those who put themselves before the welfare of the group, but also has supervised a staff. He is attractive and charming and has a lovely family, including a powerful wife who is capable of supporting him professionally but chooses what many see as the traditional woman's roles as mate and mother. He also has a couple of lives left, which he will probably need just to get elected in the U.S.. Why he has not been drafted by the Democrats before this is a mystery.

I agree that Meghan Powers would be an excellent Democratic president.
I don't know why I think Joe Willard (of Betsy-Tacy fame) would be a Republican, but I do. He's a hard worker and a successful senior class president, so I'd like to nominate him.
I have concerns about Mr. Plumbean as a candidate. He's not a mover and shaker, despite the zeal with which he decorates his house - you'll notice that he does all of this *after* the seagull drops the paint. It's really the seagull who shows initiative and gets things done - hmm, seagull for President?

Ramona Quimby for Independent! She's brave enough to stand up for her ideas, and she'll pester Congress until she gets what she wants! Running mate: Clementine!
