  1. It’s great to see all the discussion of diversity, but is ‘race’ really the title, or is it a broader discussion that includes Latinos, for whom language and national origins are usually a much greater dividing and/or uniting factor than race?

    It is as broad as discussion as we can make it. We talked a lot about the title for the page, and went with “race,” itself a suspect term, because “multiculturalism” seems too loaded and “diversity” too vague. But I do take your point. ¡Hablamos!
