From the Editor – January 2017

Roger_EdBriant_191x300It is ALA awards month, and I hope you can join us at the association’s Midwinter Conference in Atlanta, January 20th through 24th. The Horn Book will be at booth #2117 in the exhibit hall, and executive editor Martha V. Parravano and I will be making the rounds and picking up the gossip. (Unfortunately, MVP has far too much integrity to share the deliberations of her CSK Awards Committee, but we will both tell you what should win the other medals.) Come meet us, and pick up a free copy of the January/February Horn Book Magazine and the beautiful poster Lolly Robinson has designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards.
