Halloween candy is for kids.

We were all bummed today that no one brought in any leftover Halloween candy. And then *this* arrived from our friends at Taza Chocolate…I mean Heaven:

It is by far the most delicious thing to have come Out of the Box in our seven years of publication. And guess what? Today is Out of the Box’s birthday! What better way to celebrate than with fine chocolate locally made by our friends and neighbors?

You can visit the Taza factory in nearby Somerville, MA (outside Union Square, near the old Horn Book office in Charlestown). They even do chocolate-themed storytimes, featuring No Monkeys, No Chocolate, a book we like, too. Keep your candy corn and lollipops, children — we’ve got the good stuff.
