About Me
I've been the editor in chief of The Horn Book, Inc, since 1996; previously editor of The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books and a children's and young adult librarian. Received my M.A. in library science from the University of Chicago in 1982 and a B.A. from Pitzer College in 1978.

Although the article had many favorite parts, I think the best was that she had originally planned to write the book as nonfiction, but decided not to in order to protect her sources.
Hear that? It's the sound of any credibility smashing into a Million Little Pieces.....
How long will if be before she sues Don Brown for plagiarism?

If her agent believes her, who are we to be skeptical?
Did anyone see the CBS "60 Minutes" segment fairly recnetly on the "Da Vinci Code?" They pretty much said it's one of the best hoaxes ever perpetuated....oh, well..."60 Minutes" has perpetuated a few things of its own....one has to wonder how many people out there are believing that book is nonfiction...eeeh!
