Former Horn Book editor Anita Silvey received the Education Publishing Association's Ludington Award "for an individual who has made a significant contribution to the paperback book business." Her confrerees at the award banquet sported the singular Silvey accessory in her honor:

Oh, my. I hate to think of Tim Gunn getting a hold of this new Roger "look." Oh my.
As in:
"What are you planning to do with that?'
"I'm finished."
"Oh my."
As in:
"I dare not even ask about poor little Stanley."
(A nickel to anyone who gets that reference.)
Unfortunately, the books are hiding the row of fleurchons I have running down my pants.
