I've been the editor in chief of The Horn Book, Inc, since 1996; previously editor of The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books and a children's and young adult librarian. Received my M.A. in library science from the University of Chicago in 1982 and a B.A. from Pitzer College in 1978.

Thanks for sharing this! It reminds me that riding the subway can be a really cool experience.
Likewise, thanks, this was great fun! I followed the link to the info about the author. There I discovered that he, his wife, and their sons have moved to Berlin, which I know from personal experience has a stupendous subway system. Maybe there will be a sequel in German some day soon!
