Narnia Chronicled
The Lion, the Witch,
and the Horn Book |
We’ve been frequent visitors to Narnia since
1951, when we applauded the publication of a “beautifully
written” new book by the author of the Screwtape Letters.
Hollywood’s splashy arrival on the scene gives us a happy
excuse to dig out our own family scrapbook of the kingdom: original
reviews, commentaries, editorials, and letters to the editor —
a rich collection spanning over half a century. But we also include
something thoroughly modern and only available here: reviews of
the recent film adaptations.
