Awards
There is much to celebrate in children’s
and young adult literature, and every year hundreds of books
and authors are honored with medals, prizes, and applause
in ceremonies around the country and the world. Gathered here
is news of the most recently announced winners, as well as
comprehensive listings of the ALA awards, national awards,
state and regional honors, and international accolades. Our
