Update: whoops again!

We’ve realized in all our English-major wisdom that we had it right the first time. Please enjoy our continuing centennial coverage, and April Fool!

We interrupt our centennial celebrations to inform you regretfully that it is not, in fact, our centennial year. Our editorial team, which is comprised primarily of English majors, realized in a recent meeting that we had counted wrong, and the Horn Book is actually only ninety-nine years old.

Anyway, um, thanks for all the good wishes, and we look forward to the same gracious attention and affection when the real centennial comes around. In the meantime, we hope you’ll enjoy our very special, very erroneous May/June centennial special issue, coming soon to a mailbox near you.

I totally fell for this before checking the calendar and realizing it’s April 1st! 😅
