From the Editor – April 2016

Roger_EdBriant_191x300I invite you to have a listen to the Horn Book’s new podcast, started by editorial assistant Siân Gaetano with a prayer (from me) and a ton of enthusiasm (from Siân). We’ve covered such topics as boys and reading, adult books for children, my bête noir Twitter, and the mysteries of the Sorting Hat, which episode felt more like a seventh-grade sleepover than anything else. And next week Siân and a friend, YA fantasy author Mackenzie Lee, are discussing fan culture. You can find all the episodes, with helpful links to the people and topics discussed, on the podcast’s home page and on Soundcloud, and you can subscribe via iTunes or Stitcher. Each episode runs for about a half hour. I hope you like it!
