From the Editor – May 2016

Roger_EdBriant_191x300On June 2nd, the Boston Globe and the Horn Book will be announcing the winners of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards for the fiftieth time. Arguments have been raging in the office on the difference between the 50th occurrence of something and the 50th anniversary, which is actually the 51st time — oh, never mind, I’ve come to realize I am the only person who doesn’t understand how this works. Either way we will be celebrating. And if you are in Boston on Saturday, June 4th, please come to the Boston Book Festival’s Hubbub celebration — “Creative Commotion for Kids” — in Copley Square. The Horn Book will have a booth with the freshly minted winners on display. Come see.
