You may know this from your copy of the latest issue of The Horn Book Herald, but I want again to direct you to our bounteous content about all the ALA award winners announced late last month. There are an interview with and five questions for Newbery Medalist Meg Medina; the announcement of the Robin Smith Picture Book Prize; an interview with Belpré Illustrator Award winner Yuyi Morales; and so much more. We will be publishing the speeches of the Newbery, Caldecott, Children’s Literature Legacy, and CSK (celebrating its fiftieth year, yay!) award winners in the July/August issue of The Horn Book Magazine, and I’m delighted to tell you that Caldecott Medalist Sophie Blackall is already at work on the cover!
