"The Truth of Capten Underpants!" (More fanfiction)

It's February vacation week in Massachusetts — hang on — didn't we just have a winter break? Why, yes, we did: Winter Break: The Aftermath. Elissa's post inspired me to pull out some of my favorite comics by one of my favorite comic creators, my nine-year-old son.

His Captain Underpants–inspired fan art has been voluminous lately.

Like his fictional heroes, George and Harold, he’s got his own imprint, “Penguin Comix Ink.”

He’s trying out marketing gimmicks (if you can’t see in the picture, Captain Underpants is on the cover of "Major Comic Mash Up!!!" with a disclaimer in small print: “Not in comic”).

Full-color cover! (Black-and-white interior art):

These last two crack me up. He's got the hyperbolic back-cover copy down.

"This is the story of how a princabel named Mr. Krup turns into a hero captin underpants with the help of tow boys named gorge beard and harold huchens. If you like drama if you like laffes than capten underpants is GO!!!" "That no make no sens. Butt [potty humor intended] we like it!"

"Here we have a comic mash up so epic so awsome your head might EXPLOD. now that you know how awsome the comic is read it!"

Any marketing departments looking for an intern?
