We've reached the culmination of Nonfiction week in our month-long virtual Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards celebration.

 

Today, judge Sujin Huggins introduces the 2022 BGHB Nonfiction Winner Black Birds in the Sky: The Story and Legacy of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre:

 

The 2022 Boston Globe–Horn Book Award for Nonfiction is presented to Brandy Colbert for Black Birds in the Sky: The Story and Legacy of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre published by Balzer + Bray, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
