From the Editor - October 2021

We’re celebrating the 2021 Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards this month at hbook.com; currently midway through Picture Book week, with Nonfiction up next. Please see my welcome post and video for a full schedule and links to our coverage. And look forward to the January/February 2022 issue of the Horn Book Magazine for acceptance speeches by the winners and honorees and a gorgeous cover created by Picture Book Award winner Sydney Smith. I know, I know, January might seem far away, but I’ve already finished writing my Christmas book reviews so I’m practically ready for spring break. Such is publishing.

From the October 2021 issue of Notes from the Horn Book.
