Review Copies

The Horn Book Magazine, a bimonthly publication, reviews children’s and young adult books that are published in the United States. Publishers should send two copies of appropriate new titles in advance of publication date (preferably three months) to:

Main College Building, Suite A375
Boston, MA 02115

***NOTE: The Horn Book is only able to review using digital copies while we work remotely. Please send PDFs to mdelosreyes at hbook.com.***

Submissions must be accompanied by a notice with complete publication information, including price, publication date, and ISBN. Horn Book editors determine whether, when, and where the reviews appear. If a book has gatefolds or other physical features, please highlight that information when you submit it.

The Magazine reviews books very selectively, approximately one hundred titles an issue, and generally considers titles notable for high standards in plot, theme, characterization, and style. Board books and original paperbacks are occasionally reviewed.
