For your listening pleasure

podlogo2 For your listening pleasureYes, I still have two posts to write but have been (still am) sick so I’ll take the easy route for now.

Back in the day, the Horn Book had a podcast. My favorite was one that Roger recorded in January 2008 when he was on the Caldecott committee. What I love about this is the way it gives you a sense of committee camaraderie and the suspense of waiting for the announcement — or rather waiting for everyone else to learn what the committee chose. Here’s a link that should take you straight to the MP3 file.

If that doesn’t work for you, here’s the old podcast page — scroll down to “Caldecott 2008″ and click on “listen.”
