The Fatal Detour

While we never did make it to Disneyland, we did not go hungry.

You could at least have brought back some mouse ears. It's not like we ask for much around here.

Love their burgers. But the fries? Eh.

Lisa -- don't go dissing the only vegetable someone very dear to me ever eats! I admit I also quite like their fries, though once or twice feel like I got a batch pulled out from the fat+calorie free oil a bit too soon. Then again, when judging this, keep in mind that I would rather spend a day in an in-n-out drivethrough line than at Disneyland....

Gregory is right, our fries were paler than I recall them being thirty years ago. But the double-double was as perfect in consumption as it was in recollection.

oh Lisa, I love their fries. And I tell myself they're healthy because I see them peel the potatoes. No calories that way.
We have an In n Out in Carlsbad. Next time you're down this way I will treat you to a double order.

You Mid-Atlantic dwellers can now have the next best thing. Five Guys. I am not kidding. I am as big an In n Out junkie as anyone, but Five Guys is 90% as good. Oh, dear, I'm salivating just thinking about it, and it's only 9:30.
