I've been the editor in chief of The Horn Book, Inc, since 1996; previously editor of The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books and a children's and young adult librarian. Received my M.A. in library science from the University of Chicago in 1982 and a B.A. from Pitzer College in 1978.

Oh, how lovely. It may make me go out opening all the cages in the nearest zoo, of course, but how beautifully put together it is.
Unfortunately, I got as far as the gold bird on the river then it froze up and I had to reboot my pc. I don't have the fastest internet speed. But, it looks interesting enough. Although, to me, it's just another flash movie.
Yes, the slowness is something that needs to get worked on. Web users have very little patience--at least this one does!
