WMAG…? e-newsletter — ARCHIVE

What Makes a Good…?

The What Makes a Good…? e-newsletter (published 2015-16) was a quarterly supplement to our monthly e-newsletter Notes from the Horn Book, in partnership with Junior Library Guild. Based on the Horn Book Magazine column of the same name, WMAG provided topic-specific recommendations of recently published books, across grade levels, ability levels, and all areas of interest, beginning with our inaugural summer 2015 issue What Makes Good Narrative Nonfiction? All reviews are from The Horn Book Guide and The Horn Book Guide Online. Each issue also included a Five Questions interview by an exemplary author or illustrator in the field.
