Awards 2008
The most prestigious honors in children's literature,
the Newbery and Caldecott Medals, were awarded to Good Masters!
Sweet Ladies! and The Invention of Hugo Cabret on
January 14, 2008, at the American Library Association's midwinter
meeting in Philadelphia. Also announced at the gathering were the
winners of the Coretta Scott King, Belpre, Printz, Sibert, and Batchelder
awards, and several other major honors. Follow the links below for
