Awards 2010
The most prestigious honors in children's literature, the Newbery and Caldecott Medals, were awarded to Rebecca Stead and Jerry Pinkney on January 18, 2010, at the American Library Association's midwinter meeting in Boston. Also announced at the gathering were the winners of the Coretta Scott King, Belpre, Printz, Sibert, and Batchelder awards and several other major honors.
