Sherman Alexie's The Absolutely
True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (Little) has won the 2007
National Book Award for Young People's Literature. The prize was
presented at a ceremony in New York City on November 14, 2007. This
year's judging panel was chaired by Elizabeth Partridge and also
included Pete Hautman, James Howe, Patricia McCormick, and Scott
Westerfeld.
