Introducing...the Horn Book Podcast

Starting today, the Horn Book’s new podcast with editor in chief Roger Sutton and Guide editorial assistant Siân Gaetano is live! Released once a week, this podcast will be for casual conversation about children’s literature from the perspectives of publishers, librarians, teachers, and fans. Roger brings his years of experience, strong opinions, and solid sass to the effort. Siân brings…enthusiasm. And tattoos.

Roger and Siân will use this space to engage in some of the important ongoing conversations in the kid’s lit industry and to hopefully start some conversations of their own. They (let’s be honest, Siân) will also use this space to talk about anything kids'-book related that they might find fun, interesting, or exciting and to chat with other people working in the industry.

Every episode will be posted here on the Horn Book website. You can also listen by subscribing to the Horn Book Podcast on iTunes or Stitcher, or by following us on Soundcloud. To keep up to date with all things Horn Book podcast, you can follow Siân, Roger, and the Horn Book on Twitter and Facebook. Email us at podcast (at)

Happy listening!
