We are just dotting the
is of
the May/June issue celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Coretta Scott King Awards. Phew! I don't think we've published an issue with quite so many moving parts. I speak literally, figuratively, and emotively.
I hope our subscribers appreciate this landmark issue, and I wanted to let the rest of you know that single copy purchases can be reserved now. (We've already bumped up the print run twice but I am still nervous that we will run out.) Single copies are $15.00 including postage and may be ordered from:

Is it possible to submit my own books for reviews? My publisher is not willing to submit them for me. Thank you for your help in this matter and I apologize for asking this question here.Posted : May 12, 2019 03:01

This is great! I saw the Coretta Scott King Book Award winners posted on the American Library Association's site a while back. It's unfortunate that magazines don't have the opportunity to win it.Posted : Apr 22, 2019 10:19
