The entire team at The Horn Book, School Library Journal, Library Journal - and at our sister companies, JLG & AKJ - are strong advocates for the value of quality literature and the impacts that it can have on a child’s life. Our desire to support librarians, educators, and their students goes beyond the work that we do here every day. We see the struggles in the communities where we live, we understand that the playing field is not level for all schools, and we want to help.

We're proud to announce that the MSI READS Scholarship program is officially accepting applications from schools in need. MSI READS stands for “Reaching Educators and Developing Students.” This is a scholarship program dedicated to helping schools in need due to budget cuts, natural disasters, and general lack of funding.
