WINNER

The 2021 Boston Globe–Horn Book Fiction and Poetry Award winner is A Sitting in St. James by Rita Williams-Garcia (Quill Tree Books/HarperCollins).

 

HONOR BOOKS

Fighting Words by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley (Dial Books for Young Readers/Penguin Random House) received a BGHB Fiction and Poetry Honor.

 

Punching the Air written by Ibi Zoboi with Yusef Salaam; illustrated by Omar T. Pasha (Balzer + Bray/HarperCollins) received a BGHB Fiction and Poetry Honor.
