From the Editor - March 2017

Roger_EdBriant_191x300I'm completely taken with the "Reading Without Walls" challenge made by our National Ambassador for Young People's Literature, Gene Luen Yang. Gene is asking something very simple of each of us: to read one book about a character who doesn't look like you or live like you OR read one book about subject you don't know much about OR read one book in a format which you don't normally read. Basically: try something new! It's a great idea for readers old or young, seasoned or beginning. You can read more about the challenge in my interview with Gene.
