BGHB 2022: The Boston Globe Interviews the Judges

Earlier this month, The Boston Globe's books contributing editor Kate Tuttle interviewed this year's Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards judges, Vicky Smith (chair), Sujin Huggins, and Maura O'Toole, about their timely selections. Chair Vicky Smith is the access services director at the Portland Public Library in Portland, Maine; Sujin B.E. Huggins, PhD is an associate professor in the School of Information Studies at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois; and Maura O’Toole is a teacher librarian at the Lyndon K-8 School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Watch their conversation below; click on the tag BGHB22 for much more (acceptance selfies, interviews, reviews!) on the winning books and our month-long virtual celebration.
