>We'll be announcing the Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards in about two weeks.I don't know what the correlation is between HB stars and BGHB Awards, but the processes for determining each are both very different and selected by different people. Stars are determined by the Magazine editors in consultation with the masthead reviewers; the three BGHB judges (one of whom may also be a HB reviewer) consult no one but each other.
