Earth Day 2021: Restore Our Earth

Today, April 22, is Earth Day, with the focus being "Restore Our Earth." Last year was the momentous fiftieth anniversary of Earth Day, and Cindy's round-up post includes lots of book recommendations, articles, and links. See also April's Notes from the Horn Book list "For Earth Day: Protecting animals"; today's Poetry Review of the Week (also for National Poetry MonthIce!: Poems About Polar Life; and of course the Guide/Reviews Database subject Environment--Conservation, including the March/April Horn Book Magazine review of Does Earth Feel?, "a contemplative and somewhat meditative series of '14 Questions for Humans' [which] prompts child readers to ponder the planet we live on — and the consequences of our actions."

We all must do our part to "Restore Our Earth." How will you be honoring the occasion? Share your plans with us in the comments below!
