Father's Day 2025

Permit me a moment to give a shout-out to my amazing husband (happy anniversary to us next week!). Though he is generally spotlight-averse, this will nevertheless be a very special weekend for him: not only is he turning 45 on Saturday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!), he'll also be celebrating Father's Day on Sunday, June 15, with our three kids. The weekend will be dad-focused, but knowing him, I'm sure there will be plenty of reading board books (Leslie Patricelli's Daddy is a current favorite in our house) and volleyball happening, too, because as parents, we enjoy doing what our kids enjoy doing and, most importantly, doing it together.

Here are some recommended books, articles, and blog posts featuring dads, granddads, father figures, and Father’s Day; find plenty more about fathers (and moms, and grandparents, and other loving caregivers) here at Family Reading.

Happy Father's Day!
