My prediction is the book " Draw" by Raul Colon. The illustrations in this book are beyond beautiful. Children can have their own imagination and create their own stories. English Language Learners and ESE students will benefit from these amazing pictures. The book can help kids by creating their own writing prompts. I am so in love with the colors!!! Vibrant and happy colors!!!! Raul Colon is beyond talented. I hope this book receives this honor.Posted : Jan 25, 2015 01:09

I must immediately seek OUT BOW-WOW'S NIGHTMARE NEIGHBORS, which I have not yet seen, but otherwise these are all fantastic choices. Great to see SHARKS there in non-fiction, and I do love all the picture book selections. The best new of all is that two books illustrated by Melissa Sweet and two books illustrated by Christian Robinson have made it here. Every one of these four are utterly masterful. Jacqueline Woodson's placement is too cause for celebration, though I was expecting it. I am itching to read THE FAMILY ROMANOV! Great stuff! :)Posted : Dec 04, 2014 05:03
