FireboatBack in 2003 and again in 2004, picture books featuring the Twin Towers were honored with Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards. To mark the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we've posted  Maira Kalman's and Mordicai Gerstein's acceptance speeches, originally published, respectively, in the January/February 2004 and 2005 issues of The Horn Book Magazine.
