Happy 90th birthday to children's literature luminary Barbara Bader! In addition to her seminal book American Picturebooks from Noah's Ark to the Beast Within and longtime work as children's book editor and eventually co-owner of Kirkus Reviews, she has also been a prolific Horn Book Magazine contributor.
