Great interview Sean! Or maybe a bit more of a wonderfully relaxed conversation. If I may, I disagree that you grow out of fandom. As someone who has already lived the majority of his life, I still get thrilled (deeply and wildly excited) when I read a good book. To that point, I don't believe you ever recapture the feeling of your first read of a book, and in that same context rereading a book is like visiting an old friend. That is, someone you know and understand and yet care about enough about to strive to develop a deeper and more meaningful "relationship" with or to rekindle those old feelings. That is what makes books great, what keeps me reading and what keeps my insides churning in fandom.Posted : Apr 20, 2016 01:10
