♫ Summer readin' had me a blast...♫

frenchy-sandy-greaseThis is the time of year when I get "Summer Nights" stuck in my head for weeks. We've been working on our annual summer reading recommendations, and how can you not sing "summer reading" to that catchy tune? (shoo bop bop, shoo bop bop, yeah!)

Tell you more, you say? We've picked our top ten books of the last year for each of five different age groups. There's fiction, nonfiction, and poetry; thrillers, comedies, and memoirs; beachy picture books and spooky novels — in short, something for every kid or teen to read in a hammock, beside the pool, or with a flashlight under the covers at camp.

Head on over to the annotated list to read why we love these titles, then download the gorgeous PDF (with cover girls Ling and Ting, designed by our Creative Director Lolly Robinson) to take with you to the library or bookstore. Find previous years' recommendations here. Happy reading!
