While the Climes They Are A-Changin'

To the tune of “The Times They Are A-Changin’” by Bob Dylan

Come gather ‘round, people.
Come speak and engage
on the street, on the screen,
on the passed-around page.
For so many living a formative age,
there’s a million stories worth saving.
Save stories of joy—and tell stories of storms
while the climes they are a-changin’.

Come writers. Come all
with a message to send.
Come act and uplift,
come reflect, come defend.
There are platforms for speaking.
We hope you’ll ascend.
You’ve got views, and they’re worth the exchanging.
We’ve come a long way, but there’s higher to go
and the climbs they are a-changin’.
