Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, "a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States." Here are some articles, interviews, and booklists by and about Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to help acknowledge, celebrate, and amplify the voices of children's book creators of Asian and Pacific Islander descent. Also look to the Asian Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA) for more information and winners of the Asian Pacific American Award for Literature.
