Welcome to Picture Book week of our first-ever, month-long virtual Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards celebration.

 

Today, judge Sujei Lugo introduces the 2020 BGHB Picture Book Honor Book Birdsong:

 

The 2020 Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor Book Award for Picture Book is presented to Julie Flett for Birdsong published by Greystone Kids.
